1. certainly a lot can happen in 12 months. That's an eternity in politics. But the economic indicators suggest we are headed for a double dip recession, as Obama continues to mismanage the economy and sink us deeper in debt. The man has no friggin clue. He continues to offer the same old "shovel-ready jobs" and "let's tax someone else" crap he did 2 years ago, like we could forget that the jobs "were not as shovel-ready as we thought."
I loved this one, "I didn't promise hope and change tomorrow or hope and change this year." Of course, that is exactly what he did. "This is the moment when people will say the seas stopped rising . . ." (from Obama's inauguration address). The man is incapable of keeping his word or of acknowledging an error.
2. The Republicans made tehir share of werrors in nominating candidates last time around, but I hope--and believe--the party is focused solely on electibility as we run up to 2012. Beating Obama is the most important factor. We know Obama will not run on his record because his record sucks big time, so all he has is demonizing the Republican nominee. His minion in the press have already been doing that. Bachmann got the full palin treatment, Perry is taking his lumps now. Whoever is the Republican frontrunner is demonized by the liberal media. This is going to be an ugly, ugly Democratic campaign.

I don't know if you read my last update, but I missed out on the hot-dog stand job. My sauerkraut slinging abilities were sub-par.
I did put in for a job as a sales professional at Lupe's Muffler Repair. Keep your fingers crossed...

Ha! I didn't set myself up for that kind of disappointment. Had a feeling that was going to happen....not by 45 pts., though.
I think the meltdown and cries for Mack's job on the 40 board are unnecessary. Those same whiners blasted Mack for favoring seniority and experience over talent. Now he has reversed that approach, and they still complain. This team is going to be really good in a year or two (probably the latter). Until then, the growing pains will hurt.
